Within the project SCALA (see annex in Spanish), SEARCH FOR INTERNATIONAL COLLABORATION for the implementation and evaluation of the prevention and treatment of alcohol use disorders and co-morbid depression in primary health care through a brief alcohol intervention model with community support. Implementation research to determine if such complex intervention with community support leads to increased screening of alcohol consumption and delivery of brief advice in primary care, and the possibilities of scaling up such model on the basis of its efficacy.
